Research camp in Chita, Aichi

From 25 to 27 September 2026, we held a research camp to gain an understanding of the service ecosystem in the Chita region of Aichi Prefecture (centred on Handa City). We split into five groups, each conducting a series of interviews, and on the final day we shared our understanding of the service ecosystems relating to our respective themes. The themes were as follows:

• Preserving the value of traditional industries and fostering cultural intelligence: the case of Tokoname ware
• Fermentation innovation on the Chita Peninsula: the brewing industry and local value creation
• The Kamezaki Tide Festival and the local community: preserving tradition and mechanisms for local co-creation
• Handa City’s Biomass Industrial City Initiative: resource circulation
• Circular City Gamagori and manufacturing: creating new value

2026年9月25日から27日にかけて愛知県の知多地域（半田市中心）のサービスエコシステムを理解するために研究合宿を行いました．5グループに分かれてそれぞれ取材を重ね，最終日に各テーマに関するサービスエコシステムの理解を共有しました．以下はテーマです．
